Soccer Elite FASEFA Coaches · Practical guide
Using SEFA Coaches
Read this guide before requesting access or setting up your account. No sign-in is needed to read it.
Already have access? Open My sessions (sign-in required).
01 · Before a session
Reply and check your plan
- Open My sessions → Upcoming. A new request can appear before the plan is published. Look for Reply needed.
- Tap Yes, I can work or No, I can’t work. Use Add a note (optional) if Sam or Arron needs context. Check that the card then says You said Yes or You said No.
- Tap View full session plan to check the date, venue, pitch and Coaching team & jobs. Draft plan can change; Published shows the current published version. Your own row is marked (you).
If you change No to Yes, the card says Waiting for Sam / Arron. They must put you back on the team before you are assigned again.
02 · On the day
Use your current group
- From your session card, tap Open my group. On Players, see only your group’s player list and live sign-ins. The page checks for updates; tap Refresh if you need the latest status immediately.
- Open Plan & balls for your published pitch, duty, shared notes and ball allocation. If you are the equipment lead, Manage session balls opens your equipment task.
- Tap Messages at the top of My sessions to read messages about your sessions. A New SEFA session message alert opens the message after sign-in if needed.
The plan and group may change. Refresh My sessions before relying on an old screenshot or notification.
03 · After a session
Save group feedback
- Open My sessions → Past sessions → Open feedback, then choose the Feedback tab.
- For checked-in players, mark anyone who Excelled or Struggled. Add group comments. A player new to Academy or this session needs an Individual comment — required before submission.
- Wait for Draft saved or tap Save draft now. The group lead taps Submit group feedback; other coaches can contribute notes to the shared draft. Check for Feedback submitted before leaving.
You can draft feedback before the session, but submission opens only after it starts. If you see Not saved, keep the page open, reconnect and save again.
04 · Alerts and help
Know when something changes
In My sessions → Set up SEFA Coaches → Session notifications, enable notifications and check for Enabled on this device. On iPhone, do this inside the installed Home Screen app.
- Push alerts cover a new assignment, a change to your own published group, removal from a future session, cancellation and a new session message.
- A removal alert says you no longer need to attend. The removed future assignment disappears from Upcoming. A cancelled session can remain there marked Cancelled.
- Changes to a job or coaching role alone do not send a separate alert. Check the current full plan for those details.
These alerts do not have an email fallback. If notifications are off, check My sessions regularly. Lock-screen alerts contain no player details; trust the current app status if an alert looks old.
If a reply or feedback says it was not saved, reconnect and try again. If a session is missing or your account looks wrong, contact Sam or Arron. On a shared phone, use your profile menu to Sign out when finished.
