SEFA Coaches

Use your named SEFA account, add the app to your phone and turn on session alerts.

1. Request and set up your account

Submit your name and work email through Request coach access. Sam reviews your request and, if approved, privately shares a personal setup link. The link works once and expires after 36 hours.

Open your setup link, tap Continue setup and set a password. Sign in with the same work email. If the link has expired or the email is wrong, ask Sam for a new one.

Already use SEFA for Post-16 squads? Keep your existing account, password and authenticator. Once Sam adds your Academy sessions, sign in as usual and open My sessions. You do not need another setup link.

2. Add SEFA Coaches to your phone

Open operations.soccerelitefa.com/coaches/start on the phone you will use for sessions.

1. iPhone: Use Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Check that the preview shows the SEFA crest, keep Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
2. Android: Use Chrome. Open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

Open SEFA Coaches from its Home Screen icon and sign in with your work email and password.

3. Turn on session notifications

In My sessions, open Set up SEFA Coaches → Session notifications. Tap Enable notifications, allow the phone prompt and check that the status says Enabled on this device. On iPhone, do this inside the installed Home Screen app.

Alerts cover new assignments, changes to your own published group, removal, cancellation and new session messages. These alerts are push-only; they will not arrive by email if notifications are off. No player details appear in an alert.

4. Check and reply to your sessions

Open My sessions → Upcoming. For a new request, tap Yes, I can work or No, I can’t work and check that your reply appears. Open the full session plan for current groups, jobs and pitch details. A removal alert says you do not need to attend; the removed future assignment disappears from Upcoming. A cancelled session can remain there marked Cancelled.

If your account or sessions look wrong, contact Sam before relying on the schedule. Keep an internet connection when replying or checking changes.
